Canada's Productivity Initiative: Infrastructure and Productivity In partnership with the School of Public Policy, University of Calgary

Join leading voices and leaders for a powerful half-day event hosted at Deloitte Summit to discuss key issues holding back Canada’s long-term prosperity and productivity. Presented by the University of Calgary’s School of Public Policy in collaboration with the Business Council of British Columbia, this session will include a panel and case studies presented by business and policy leaders to address issues with Canada’s seaports, railways, highways, energy pipelines, electricity transmission lines and other critical infrastructure.

About the Partners

Canada’s Productivity Initiative is a year-long undertaking by the School of Public Policy that explores multiple aspects of lagging productivity and economic growth in Canada and will provide practical recommendations to policymakers across the country.

Building on successful events in Calgary, Ottawa and Halifax, the Vancouver session ensures British Columbian voices are heard in this vital national discussion. Future sessions will take place in, Montreal, Saskatoon, and Toronto and all will inform the recommendations report to be published by the end of 2025.
