Submission: BCBC Urges Delay of Metro Vancouver's Solid Waste Management Plan Vote

On behalf of the Business Council of British Columbia, we urge Metro Vancouver to postpone its October 30 vote on submitting the revised ten-year Solid Waste Management Plan for provincial approval. In our July 31 submission, the Business Council of British Columbia called for a delay until after the municipal election process and an independent review. Instead, the current Board plans to vote just 13 days after the elections, before the incoming Board takes office.
