Revising Alternative Dispute Resolution in Environmental Assessments

The Business Council appreciates the opportunity to comment on the review of alternative dispute resolution (ADR) for Aboriginal interests under the Environmental Assessment Act, 2018 (EAA). For reference, in September 2024 we provided comments on the 5-year review process found here.

The comments in this submission build on conversations with our members and the Environmental Assessment Office (EAO) since 2018 about ADR implementation.
