Explore some of the moments that made our recent events truly special.
B.C. Business Summit 2025
Productivity Awakens
The 10th annual B.C. Business Summit brought together more than 400 business leaders, policymakers, economists, and students for a full-day conversation on one of Canada’s most pressing challenges: productivity.
With a Star Wars inspired theme, the Summit combined serious policy discussion with creativity and momentum.
The day opened with a fireside chat featuring Carolyn Rogers, Senior Deputy Governor of the Bank of Canada, followed by keynote remarks from Frances Donald, Chief Economist at RBC. Panels throughout the day explored Canada’s resource sector, education, technology, and economic growth all through the lens of productivity.
“ Best event of the year. The team really pulled off something special.”
First Nations Leaders Gathering Welcome Reception
This annual reception brought together BCBC members and delegates attending the B.C. Cabinet and First Nations Leaders’ Gathering for an evening focused on relationship building.
The event provided a unique opportunity for business, government, and Indigenous leaders from across the province to connect and engage in meaningful dialogue.
“It’s not often you can take 7 hours of your day and say that it was absolutely 100% well spent.”
Strong Economy, Strong Community Dinner 2025
An evening focused on more than the economy alone, this second annual event explored what a strong economy truly means for our communities.
Bringing together more than 300 leaders and over 35 charitable organizations from across British Columbia’s business and non-profit sectors, the night celebrated the powerful connection between economic strength, community impact, and partnerships that support prosperity across the province.
Together with our sponsors, the event helped raise $30,000 for our featured charitable partners.
