Federal Election 2025: BCBC Policy Tracker

With the 2025 federal election underway, the Business Council of British Columbia (BCBC) has launched a new policy tracker to help Canadians better understand the business-related policy proposals of the country’s three largest political parties.

The BCBC Policy Tracker provides a side-by-side summary of party positions across a range of economic themes including fiscal policy, taxation, regulation, labour, and the environment. It focuses on policies that directly or indirectly affect Canada’s investment climate, and in turn, long-term prosperity and living standards.

The tracker will be updated as the campaign progresses. BCBC invites voters, policymakers, and stakeholders to review the information and consider how the parties' policy platforms align with the goal of building a more productive and competitive economy.

Disclaimer: The parties are releasing policies daily in a wide variety of ways. BCBC has made its best effort to track the releases and statements that are most relevant to the business community. We encourage readers/voters to consult party websites and official communications directly to confirm the most up-to-date information and assess the full context of each party’s platform.
